VPN.google.com... interesting...

What do you figure Google is doing with a domain like "vpn.google.com" or better yet, the domain "googlevpn.com"?

Non-Authoritative answer:
Name: vpn.google.com
Addresses: 66.28.250.23, 66.28.250.25, 66.28.250.26, 66.28.250.27

These IP addresses belong to a company called Cogent (which has the "Google Feel" doesn't it?).

Would this have something to do with the WiFi rumors floating around? On that note, wifi.google.com (googlewifi.net is also registered by Google) accepts web connections, but redirects to google's main page.

I'm still figuring out what this means so when I find out more information, you will be the first to know!
