Google Reader

Go to the labs and check out "Reader"... google's new project. More information will be available shortly. In the mean time, check out the google blog.

Update: I assume it's because of the large amount of people accessing the Reader, it is extremely slow and quite difficult to navigate. However, from what I can tell it's a very slick app... I'm really looking forward to using it.

Update: Here are some comments from others about Google Reader:

Man, gotta disagree with you here. This is the most Beta app I've yet to see from Google, with the possible exception of Web Accelerator. The user interface is terrible, and gets lots of errors in IE, doesn't work at all in Opera, and has formatting errors in Firfox.

Gmail it ain't.

I'm going to agree with you there... I've been playing with it for a while tonight and I'm finding the same problems...

I'm sure one of the factors in it's "buggyness" was the deadline. Lots of things can be missed when you have a short amount of time to complete them. The developers I am sure tried their best to get a functioning for the Web 2.0 conference.

What I would really like is not a standalone service, but one that is completely integrated with GMail. I'm sure they will have lots of user feedback to work on in the morning ;)
